STEPHANIE BEVINS**
​
Stephanie Bevins ** Stephanie has been coaching figure skating since 2004. She began coaching in New Hartford in 2004, coached at Aviator Sports in Brooklyn from 2007-2008, and has been back with the Skating Club of New Hartford since 2009. She grew up in Cedar Lake and was a freestyle skater with the Skating Club of New Hartford starting when she was 10 years old. Stephanie completed her Senior free skate and Senior moves in the field during her competitive skating years. She is also an art teacher at the Westmoreland Central School District. Stephanie coaches Learn to Skate group and private lessons and all free skate and moves in the field levels. She is currently accepting private students. TARA GONZALES
Tara has been a figure skater for 10 years. She grew up in New York Mills and started skating when she was 9 years old. Tara just recently became a coach and previously was a competing skater for the skating club of New Hartford. She has passed all levels leading up to Junior Moves in the Field and Intermediate free skate. Tara is also an elementary education major at Mohawk Valley Community College. KIM LAFAVE**
Kim is a USFS Gold medalist in Freestyle and Dance. She is a PSA(professional skaters association) Master Rated coach in freestyle, moves in the field as and group. She holds a level 4 ranking through PSA. She has coached in Seattle, Minneapolis-St. Paul and several other places. She has had numerous skaters pass their senior moves, senior freestyle, gold dance. She has had skaters at Regionals and Sectionals. She also has had synchronized skating teams go to USFS nationals and ISI nationals. She has been director of various ice shows in and out of the area. MIKE NORTH (on Sabbatical)
Mike previously figure skated with the Clinton Figure Skating Club for 15 years as a child with his family. He spent 7 of those years as a pair skater. Mike was introduced to the Skating Club of New Hartford through his daughters and has been a coach with us for 10 years. You can contact Mike at 315-794-0517

SAMANTHA NORTH (on Sabbatical)
Samantha was a figure skater for 8 years. She spent 3 years at the Clinton Figure Skating Club before she became a member in New Hartford. She skated with the Skating Club of New Hartford for 5 years competitively and is currently working on finishing her last two Moves in the Field Tests. Sam has been a coach with us for 4 years. MICKEY ROBERSON
Mickey started skating with New Hartford as an adult in 2017 along with his wife and son. Mickey passed his Adult Gold Moves in the Field (Skating Skills) in 2023 and is continuing on to additional standard track testing. He started coaching Learn To Skate in 2021, teaching classes for both kids and adults.
