The Board of Directors of the Skating Club of New Hartford (SCNH) are all volunteers. 

 

Board Members  volunteer their time throughout the year to develop the ice schedules, skating activities – like competitions, exhibitions and test sessions, coach contracts, and lesson fees.  The Board determines the long-term direction the club will move, and makes short-term decisions that impact the club activities.

Remember, you don’t need to be a member of our board to have an impact on the club and our skaters. We are always looking for volunteers to help with publicity, hospitality, registration, our December exhibition, the January Competition, ice-monitoring, end of season spring exhibition, fund-raising, and all sorts of other events. Get involved with the club, either by becoming a member of our Board or volunteering for a specific activity during the skating season.  Everything we do – except for ice and coaching – is done by volunteers!
