Volunteers

Everyone should help out and pitch in

The Idea

The club does no “fund raising”. The annual competition is the only time we work at increasing our fund balance. All other fees are set to meet the projected annual operating costs – ice fees and coaching fees.

All of our Board members are volunteers. Any assistance that parents can provide helps to keep the club running, as well as keeping the Board members sane. A club our size – with an all year ice commitment – cannot be run with input from only a few members. If your child skates, we need you to participate. PR, hospitality, events, printing, newsletters, music monitor, Basic Skills coordination, etc. are all areas where adult assistance is needed/welcomed.

Board members make choices based on what we believe is in the best interests of the club skaters. If you want to be involved in ANY facet of club operations, PLEASE don’t hesitate to talk with a Board member!!

The Competition

Our club has a few adult skaters, and we are always looking to encourage more people to enjoy the sport, regardless of age. So quit making excuses, go out and get some skates, and join us.
