Who runs things and how do I get involved?
Our Board
The Board of the New Hartford Skating Club determines the direction
the
club will go in, and makes any decisions that impact the club. Our club
is ALL volunteers, and our Board is no exception. Get involved with
the club, either by volunteering, or by becoming a member of our
Board.
Remember, you don't need to be a member of our board to have an impact
on the club, and our skaters. We are always looking for volunteers to
help
with our Christmas celebration, January Competition, club room upgrade,
end of season exhibition, and all sorts of other events. Just ask a
board
member what you can do to help improve the entire skating experience
for
our skaters and their families.

Upcoming Board Meetings
Again this year our board has instituted an "open meeting" policy. That means that our board meetings are open to all parents and coaches with skaters that are members of the club. Board meetings are only an hour long, and held at the rink. Our schedule of upcoming board meetings are for the following dates and times:

Vice President - Liz Hotvedt - Liz is the mother of one skater. She helps coordinate the Mohawk Valley competition for the club, and is also a USFS Judge. You can email Liz at hotvedt@adelphia.net. |

Treasurer - Martha Morreall - Marty has been the treasurer for the club for as long as anyone can remember. You can email Marty at mmorreall@yahoo.com. |

Secretary - Rosella Pandolfo - Rosella is the mother of one skater. Basic Skills parents may recognize her, as she has been quite involved with the Basic Skills program. |
